In the early years of our company, we started as a humble workshop, crafting furniture by hand with a commitment to excellence. Our founder, Dzung Nova, had a passion for woodworking and a deep appreciation for the artistry that goes into creating fine furniture. This dedication laid the foundation for our company’s values and principles.
For over three decades, our founder life was defined by bells, classrooms, and the dedicated service of education. For 32 years, the dream of creating something of her own sat quietly on a shelf, waiting for a moment that never seemed to come. In the busyness of shaping futures, there was little time to weave her own.
Retirement wasn’t an end; it was the long-awaited beginning.
Alifmaddah is the realization of a lifelong passion for design that was deferred, but never forgotten. After her retirement, she is finally trading the lecture hall for the design studio. Her mission is simple: to bring you the same dedication she gave to her students, now expressed through the language of fabric.
As an educator, she taught that the first letter is the foundation of all wisdom. As a designer, she believes that quality is the foundation of all style. Alifmaddah is a tribute to the language she taught for decades and the beauty she is now ready to create.
